Jake Baldwin is a trumpeter based in Minneapolis. His blend of dynamism, virtuosity, and versatility has made him an in-demand performer throughout the Midwest and beyond. His wide-ranging work spans genres and settings—from performing with the legendary vocal group The Four Freshmen to appearing with the Minnesota Orchestra and contributing to the animated TV series Archer.
In 2023, Baldwin won a Grammy Award for his contributions to the video game Assassin’s Creed: Ragnarok. He has released two albums on Shifting Paradigm Records: Where You’re Planted (2021) and Misc. Items (2023), which received a 4-star review in DownBeat magazine. His third album as a leader, Vanishing Point, will be released in August 2025.
